How we act and interact is nurtured by our basic understanding of people and systems:

Organizations are social systems - it is not mechanical engineering.

Yes, we do consider the mechanical part of organizations, but we go beyond: behavioural patterns, cultural values, hidden rules and the interaction with the environment.
Whatever your initiative shall look like, an open mind and individual room to manoeuver needs to be build in.

Sustainability means  fully understood & supported by whom it concerns.

All change needs learning. Learning needs repetition.

Early exploration talks with key actors set the stage for learning. Issues and sources of misunderstanding are spotted early to give change a chance.

Promises sell trust - to build trust, one needs to cater to fears and potential losses.

Change does not produce benefits only. There always is a price to pay.
We try to foresee pitfalls and losses, and work out how to compensate. We want to find out the price, the people and the organization have to pay.

One shall not delegate decisions one has to account for.

A consultant supports her or his client to the best of her or his knowledge and all due loyalty.
A client should be aware of his or her responsibilities to make decisions and follow them up.

Be honest to yourself and to the other.

We help our client to formulate vision and objectives of the project, and we enquire about limits and risks. Also, we want to understand our client's motivation in order to be most effective.

If we recognize, that a client's proposition may lead to the disrespect or the discrimination of  indidiviuals or minorities, we will reject or end the assignment.
