Honestly, who is not?
Change always demands for more energy than keeping the status-quo. But if the goal is right and the "ecological" risks are checked, one can go for change. Do not hesitate to ask help for well formulating your goal and checking possible consequences, in order to fully embrace the change.
Dealing with other people inevitably creates conflicts. But conflicts produces communication and interaction, in one way or the other. And there is the opportunity to find a solution.
Admittedly not everyone feels comfortable dealing with controversy or dissent. Sometimes one feels threatened by dissent. Quite often the situation is very complex, there are many players with hidden agendas, living in a culture where hidden rules are at least as important as the formal ones. “People issues" managers say to point out potential or existing conflicts which cannot be solved by the classic Manager's Tool Kit.
What to do, since any decision, any action, any change will add new conflicts?
