4. Pitfalls test the best

Eventually, be aware of possible pitfalls, which may occur during your meeting.

The list below is not complete. Nor are the hints to sidestep those pitfalls:

  • Participants do not (dare to) speak up
  • The group does not come up with any new idea
  • Participants arrive late and want to leave early
  • Nobody is keen to own a defined action
  • Quarrels are contaminating the meeting
  • Key players do not show up – send assistant instead
  • You are running out of time
